If you are experiencing distress in your relationships, Jaclyn works with couples conflict, abusive relationships, co-dependency, and addictions. If you are working through grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, debt, existential concerns, or just need a safe space to talk, Jaclyn has experience in these situations as well and uses integrated therapeutic approaches to best meet your needs.

Through working with people with disabilities for eight years, Jaclyn realized that she wanted to do more in the field of supporting and encouraging others. She earned a Masters of Human Services Degree from Liberty University and while holding this degree she traveled to 31 different countries to gain a better understanding of human behavior in other cultures. After she returned, she decided that she wanted use this understanding to become a counsellor. She attained a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology from Providence Theological Seminary and is an Associate member of the Professional Association of Christian Counsellors & Psychotherapists. Jaclyn is passionate about counselling and loves to create a comfortable, safe, non-judgmental space for people.

In approaching counselling, Jaclyn strongly believes in the therapeutic relationship and that change is made possible through relationship.  She embraces a non-pathologizing approach to counselling and believes in the intrinsic ability of every individual to heal. She has confidence that at the core of every individual is a center that is trustworthy, resourceful, and capable of self-understanding and self-direction.
