Masters of Counselling Therapist
Leanna is a Masters of Counselling practicum student, through the University of Lethbridge, supervised by registered psychologist Alicia Hinger.
Leanna obtained a Diploma in Psychology and Sociology from the Lethbridge College in 2012, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Lethbridge in 2014. Leanna is now in her final year of the Masters of Counselling program, which will be completed in April 2019.
Leanna’s experience ranges from working with adults with disabilities as a community disability service worker, and in the school system with children with disabilities and learning delays as an educational assistant. She has also worked in multiple youth programs, creating and implementing programming and working with youth on self-esteem and emotional regulation. Her passion for youth development stems from her involvement within the local 4H community that she had been a part of as a member for 9 years, and as an assistant leader for 6 years.
Leanna is open to helping individuals seeking therapy, with any of their needs or concerns, as she continues her development as a counsellor.
